World Leaders, Royals, and Global Figures to Attend Pope Francis’ Funeral in Vatican City
VATICAN CITY – The Vatican has confirmed that a vast and diverse group of global dignitaries will attend the funeral of Pope Francis on Saturday, April 26, in St. Peter’s Square, marking one of the largest state and religious gatherings in recent memory.
In total, 130 delegations are expected, including around 50 heads of state or government, 10 monarchs, and numerous leaders of international organizations.
